Important News about Les Miserables

Tickets sales begin Tuesday, April 13 at the Gallery on the Square

Reserved seating will be available for all public performances of Les Miserables.  The performances will be Friday, May 21 at 7:00pm;  Saturday, May 22 at 7:00pm; and Sunday, May 23 at 3:00pm at Goodnight Auditorium.   Tickets will be adults $10 and students $5.  Tickets can be purchased at the Gallery on the Square, 110 North Main Street , Franklin , Kentucky .  The Gallery hours are 10:00am – 4:00pm on Tuesday through Friday and 10:00am – 1:00pm on Saturday.  Tickets will be available online beginning Tuesday, April 27; however, an additional fee will be charged for online tickets to cover the processing costs.  Tickets will also be available at the door beginning one hour prior to the performances.

Ad sales due Friday, April 16

Ad forms and money are due Friday, April 16.  Ads from businesses and ads wishing students good luck, etc. are due Friday, April 16.  If you need additional forms, the forms can be printed from the website.  Look under the downloads tab.  Students can also get copies from Mr. Lucas.

T-shirt order forms due Friday, April 16

T-shirts will feature the Les Miserables logo on the front and the entire cast will be listed on the back.  T-shirts are $10.  All students should plan on ordering a t-shirt.  Parents and other interested persons may also order t-shirts for $10.  All adult sizes are available.  It is important that t-shirt orders be received by this date.  The price is based on ordering several t-shirts at one time.  T-shirts ordered late will cost more and may not be available until after the performances.  T-shirts ordered by April 16 should be available for pick-up at practice around May 1.  An announcement will be posted on the website.

The website www.fsdrama.com has more information about the play.  Schedule updates are available for students from Mr. Lucas and will also be posted to the website.  The latest schedule update should be posted by the end of the week. Under the tab for downloads, you will find lots of helpful forms and information.

Costumes

A note with information regarding costumes will be given to students this week or next week.  Be on the lookout for this information.  Most of the costumes will come from the costume closet that is maintained by the Franklin Simpson Arts Council.  For some characters, we will request you to check your closet for old clothes that may work for the performances.  The emphasis is on old clothes.  Most of the costumes will be transformed to dirty, ragged clothing so do not send anything that you expect to receive back in good condition.  On the other hand, a few costumes will be rented.  It is important that all rented costumes be returned in very good condition.  The rental fee is part of the budget for the musical and there is no charge to the student provided that the costume is returned in very good condition.  However, if the student damages or looses part of the costume, the student will have to pay for the costume.
